Alternative Energy Systems (11:015:406)

Brief Description of this Colloquium

The major activity of this course involves projects to develop and evaluate concepts for energy systems that can meet some specific energy need while reducing or eliminating reliance on fossil fuel resources. The weekly discussions in the Solar Energy minicourse provide the basis for more extended discussion of a number of solar options. Students can work on individual projects, or form small teams to undertake a group project of larger scope than can be covered by a single person.
