Brief Description of this Colloquium Through the application of sustainability criteria (using Sustainable Development as a point of reference) in the upstream procurement process and decision-making of public and private agencies, organizations and corporate entities can both improve environmental performance, while addressing ethics, social regeneration and economic concerns (e.g. the triple bottom-line). Students will participate in the design, examination and modeling of sustainable procurement programs currently being developed throughout the United States and the UK. |
