New & Re-emerging Diseases (11:374:431) |
|
Brief Description of this Colloquium Provides a broad social, cultural and ecological framework for understanding both the emergence of new diseases (and the re-emergence of old ones) and the role they play in our lives and our evolution. This understanding should help us gain a clearer sense of where to intervene to control them. |
