Division of Grant and Contract Accounting - DGCA
DGCA provides post award research accounting and compliance support to the research community within Rutgers University.This support includes collecting award funding, setting up new award accounts,establishing and monitoring budgetary controls, preparing and filinginvoices, preparing and filing financial reports with the sponsors,responding to award audits, administering the federally required effort certification system, and providing technical advice to faculty and staff on award compliance.

Laboratory Animal Services - LAS
LAS assists the Rutgers faculty who use animals in their research and teaching.

Office of Corporate Liaison and Technology Transfer - OCLTT
OCLT negotiates contracts between members of the Rutgers faculty and industrial research sponsors and oversees all aspects of the protection and licensing of intellectual property.

Office of Sponsored Research - Rutgers Camden
This office creates and maintains an environment that fosters and assists members of the campus community in seeking external grants for both existing needs and special projects.

FEDERAL AGENCIES
Department of Agriculture (USDA)
USDA is the country's largest conservation agency, encouraging voluntary efforts to protect soil, water, and wildlife. It also provides support to farmers and ranchers.
 
Department of Commerce (DOC)  
DOC promotes job creation, economic growth, sustainable development and improved living standards for all Americans by working in partnership with business, universities, communities and workers.

National Institute of Standards & Technology (NIST)
From automated teller machines and atomic clocks to mammograms and semiconductors, innumerable products and services rely in some way on technology, measurements, and standards provided by the NIST.

National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA)
NOAA predicts environmental changes, protects life and property, provides decision makers with reliable scientific information, and fosters global environmental stewardship.

The DoED supports improvements in teaching and learning and helps meet special needs of schools and students in elementary and secondary education.
 
Department of Energy (DOE)

Argonne National Lab Home Page

LLNL is a U.S. Department of Energy national laboratory operated by the University of California. Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS)  
DHHS is the United States government's principal agency for protecting the health of all Americans and providing essential human services, especially for those who are least able to help themselves. One of their main goals is to provide financial assistance and services for low-income families.

Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) Funding Opportunities
CDC's Procurement and Grants Office is responsible for the awarding and administration of CDC’s grants and cooperative agreements and those of the Agency for Toxic Substances and Disease Registry (ATSDR. National Institute of Health (NIH)

This office provides, coordinates, and manages information technology, and promotes computational science.

National Center for Research Resources (NCRR)
NCRR support provides the biomedical research community with access to diverse research technologies, instrumentation, specialized basic and clinical research facilities, animal models, genetic stocks, biomaterials, and more.

National Institute on Aging (NIA)
The NIA’s mission is to improve the health and well-being of older Americans through research, and specifically to support and conduct high quality research on aging processes,age-related diseases and special problems and needs of the aged.

National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID)
The National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) is the component of the National Institutes of Health (NIH) charged with conducting and supporting research on diseases of the immune system and infectious diseases.

National Institute of Arthritis and Skin Diseases (NIAMS)
The mission of the National Institute of Arthritis and Musculoskeletal and Skin Diseases is to support research into the causes, treatment, and prevention of arthritis and musculoskeletal and skin diseases, the training of basic and clinical scientists to carry out this research, and the dissemination of information on research progress in these diseases.

National Center for Complementary and Alternative Medicine (CAM)
CAM covers a broad range of healing philosophies (schools of thought), approaches, and therapies that mainstream Western (conventional) medicine does not commonly use, accept, study, understand, or make available. A few of the many CAM practices include the use of acupuncture, herbs, homeopathy, therapeutic massage, and traditional oriental medicine to promote well-being or treat health conditions.

National Cancer Institute (NCI)
The National Cancer Institute coordinates the National Cancer Program, which conducts and supports research, training, health information dissemination, and other programs with respect to the cause, diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of cancer, rehabilitation from cancer, and the continuing care of cancer patients and the families of cancer patients.

National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA)
NIDA's mission is to lead the Nation in bringing the power of science to bear on drug abuse and addiction. This charge has two critical components: The first is the strategic support and conduct of research across a broad range of disciplines. The second is to ensure the rapid and effective dissemination and use of the results of that research to significantly improve drug abuse and addiction prevention, treatment, and policy.

National Institute on Deafness and Other Communication Disorders (NIDCD)
NIDCD acquires new knowledge to help prevent, detect, diagnose, and treat disease and disability.

National Institute of Dental and Craniofacial Research (NIDCR)
(NIDCR) promotes the general health of the American people by improving their oral, dental and craniofacial health.

National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases (NIDDK)
The National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases conducts and supports research on many of the most serious diseases affecting public health. The Institute supports much of the clinical research on the diseases of internal medicine and related subspecialty fields as well as many basic science disciplines.

National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences (NIEHS)
The mission of the NIEH) is to reduce the burden of human illness and dysfunction from environmental causes by understanding each of these elements and how they interrelate.

National Eye Institute (NEI)
NEI protects and prolongs the vision of the American people and conducts and supports research that helps prevent and treat eye diseases and other disorders of vision.

National Institute of General Medical Sciences (NIGMS)
NIGMS primarily supports basic biomedical research that is not targeted to specific diseases or disorders.

National Institute of Child Health and Human Development (NICHD)
The NICHD conducts and supports laboratory, clinical and epidemiological research on the reproductive, neurobiologic, developmental, and behavioral processes that determine and maintain the health of children, adults, families and populations.

National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute (NHLBI)
This Institute plans, conducts, fosters, and supports an integrated and coordinated program of basic research, clinical investigations and trials, observational studies, and demonstration and education projects. Research is related to the causes, prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of heart, blood vessel, lung, and blood diseases; and sleep disorders.

National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH)
The National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH) supports programs to increase knowledge and improve research methods on mental and behavioral disorders; to generate information regarding basic biological and behavioral processes underlying these disorders and the maintenance of mental health; and to develop and improve mental health treatment and services.

National Institute of Nursing Research (NINR)
The NINR supports clinical and basic research to establish a scientific basis for the care of individuals across the life span-from management of patients during illness and recovery to the reduction of risks for disease and disability, the promotion of healthy lifestyles, promoting quality of life in those with chronic illness, and care for individuals at the end of life.

Environmental Protection Agency (EPA)
EPA's mission is to protect human health and to safeguard the natural environment — air, water, and land.

NASA Headquarters - National Aeronautics and Space Administration
NASA exercises management over the space flight centers, research centers, and other installations.
