Kinko's to Offer Discounts
on Recycled Paper Copies
Kinko’s is now proud to offer discounts to the
Rutgers community on photocopies printed on recycled paper in black
and white. Discounts on
30% recycled paper will make these copies more economical than those
printed on 100% virgin paper. One hundred percent recycled paper, free
of chlorine bleach, will also be offered at the same price as virgin
paper. A special
“Green” black and white self-serve machine, which stocks recycled
paper, will be available for use in each of the local branches.
This equates to about a 25% reduction off normal prices.
Greater discounts will apply to jobs of more than 5,000 impressions.
Additionally, Kinko’s will place drop boxes around campus for
the collection of spent ink cartridges, which will then be recycled.
Kinko’s hopes to demonstrate its dedication to the
environment and create a new generation of environmentally responsible
students and educators who will begin to incorporate recycled paper
into their everyday lives. The following are the details of the program:
