Dr. Robin G. Brumfield is a Professor at Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey and has been the Farm Management Extension Specialist at Rutgers since 1988. She is internationally known for her work in horticultural economics and has given over 100 talks in twelve countries. In her 24 years at Rutgers, she has been P.I. or Co-P.I. on grants totaling over $10 million. She has published over 150 articles, including 40 refereed journal articles and 47 conference proceedings. Her Greenhouse Cost Accounting Program is the standard in the greenhouse industry. She wrote the marketing and business management chapters for the best-selling textbook, Greenhouse Operations and Management by Dr. Paul V. Nelson. Before joining Rutgers University, she was Assistant Professor and Extension Specialist in Floriculture at The Pennsylvania State University for five years.

Dr. Burhan Özkan, Ph.D.

Dr. Burhan Özkan has been working in agricultural economics for the last 28 years and has extensive management experience and expertise in farm management. He has been involved in many international projects, one of which is related to determining the roles and status of women in vegetable farming systems in Turkey. Dr. Özkan has authored over 180 publications, including 100 refereed journal articles. He is founder of the Department Agricultural Economics at the Akdeniz University and chaired the Department for more than 15 years. He served as the Director of the Life Long Learning Center of Akdeniz University and is a member of the Education Working group at the Higher Education Council Of Turkey. Currently, he is advisor to the Rector and coordinator of the Bologna Process at Akdeniz University.

April Lippet-Faczak is a winter 2011 graduate of Annie’s Project and is co-host of the 2012 Annie’s Project at the EcoComplex in Bordentown. She is a liaison between the Annie's Project Team and the grads and students, and completes various administrative assignments, Facebook, web design and maintenance for Rutgers NJAES, Farm Management, Annie’s and Suzanne’s Project. She is a Rutgers Certified Master Gardener, Trained Rain Barrel and Rain Garden Presenter. As a part time Agricultural Marketing Technician at Giamarese Farm, April produces educational videos and photos, creates fact sheets, maintains the Facebook and website, creates and promotes agritourism events.
