Jerry Frecon delivers outreach educational programs to the agribusiness, field flower, forestry, fruit, landscape, and nursery industries and their constituents in Gloucester County. He also delivers similar programs to the fruit industries in Cumberland and Salem County, and the tree fruit industry in Atlantic, Burlington and Camden County. Mr. Frecon has been delivering these and similar programs since April of 1982. He holds the rank of Professor I on the Rutgers faculty, and is an Agricultural Agent I in the Department of Agricultural and Resource Management Agents, in Rutgers Cooperative Extension of the New Jersey Agricultural Experiment Station at Cook College, Rutgers University In Gloucester County Mr. Frecon administers the Extension office and manages it’s physical and financial resources. In addition to delivering educational programs, Mr. Frecon conducts applied research and provides technical expertise in his program areas. With Mr. Frecon extensive experience and associations, he handles a wide variety of activities and questions for Gloucester County residents in agriculture and resource management. |
