A spray orchid allied to Odontoglossum and Miltonia, although different in appearance, but able to be crossed with the two to give odontocidiums and multi-generic hybrids such as Wilsonara. Grown as epiphytes, the orchids are an average of one inch across, and usuall yellow or brown colors. Although the commercial varieties are generally yellow as shown at the right, other colors of Oncidium orchids are grown (below).
