Februry 28 to April 6, 2005 (38 days)
Marketable yield (Kg) per hectre

Average weight (g) per spear

Surviving plants on June 3rd, 2005

Survivng plants out of 25 plants plot (means of 4 replications)
Note:
During the winter of 2004-2005 this trial suffered a lot of rain fall and subsequently high damage from Phytophthora. Control of Phytophthora with metalaxyl was ineffective due to long time use of the fungicide. This was the reason for the relatively short harvest of the trial. The damage to the plants resulted in a large number of missing plants after the 2005 harvest, so no more yield data will be taken from this trial.
