Research Interests

Agronomy, Weed management, International Collaborations in Agriculture, Food, Environment, Natural Resources, and Community Development.

Impacts:

1. International program activities at Cook College and the New Jersey Agricultural Experiment Station (Cook/NJAES) are now on the World Wide Web at http://conip.rutgers.edu
2. College-wide international activities at Cook/NJAES have been revived and are thriving in Brazil, Peurto Rico, Ghana, Madagascar, Mozambique, Nigeria, South Africa, Zambia, Kyrgyzstan, and Uzbekistan.
3. A strong cooperation between Cook/NJAES International Programs office and the United States Peace Corps has brought the latter closer to Cook College students.

Dr. Albert Ayeni joined Rutgers in 1995 as Visiting Weed Scientist and was appointed Coordinator of International Programs in 2002.
