Research Interests
My research program focuses on understanding mechanisms of turfgrass tolerance to environmental stresses, with emphasis on heat and drought stress, at whole-plant, cellular, and molecular levels. Research projects include the following areas:
- Water relations and gas exchange
- Carbohydrate metabolism
- Antioxidant metabolism
- Hormonal regulation
- Protein identification
- Gene identification
- Gene transformation.
