Emma Lausten 2006 Horticultural Symposium

The theme of this year's program was "Water Resources in Horticulture" and featured key presentations from leaders in the field of water resource management in agriculture from within and outside RU. The program was invaluable for farmers of horticulture crops, extension agents and specialists who advise farmers, and environmental science and policy makers who are concerned with this important issue. "Making Money from Water" was one of the highlighted panel discussions. A poster session also provided an opportunity for faculty and students to showcase and highlight their specific work in the all areas of horticulture research and water.
