The Greenhouse Committee is comprised of the assistant Director of the
New Jersey Agricultural Experiment Station, Department Chairs, Faculty
renting space at the complex, and the Greenhouse Supervisor. The
Greenhouse Committee meets annually to review the greenhouse budget,
make recommendations on policy, review rental fees, review compliance
for the growing of regulated plant material and make strategic plans
for future improvements to the Research Greenhouse Complex.
The Greenhouse Supervisor, Joseph V. Florentine is responsible for the
daily operations of the complex, collecting rental fees, maintaining
financial records, implementing policy, coordinating facility repairs
and maintenance, supervising and training greenhouse staff and
technicians, assisting faculty with development of their research
projects, consulting for other University operated greenhouses and
promoting public relations.
